What’s Next For Action Against Food Poverty?

As the renowned coach and speaker Tony Robbins once said, “If you don’t grow, you die.” While we have not yet secured consistent funding, we remain optimistic and are exploring new ways to support those in need.

Looking forward, we aim to partner with companies not just for regular funding but also to encourage their employees to join our community walks. These walks would promote team building and customer service skills, boost self-confidence, and expand participants’ horizons. By encouraging employees to share their experiences on social media, we can amplify our message and inspire others to get involved.

Right now, there is something everyone can do to make a difference. We encourage people, where it is safe, to organize monthly walks with friends, bringing along treats and engaging in meaningful conversations with those in need of companionship.

Finally, for many struggling on the streets, the roots of their challenges can be traced back to childhood. Imagine the impact we could have if we reached people earlier in their lives, helping to change their trajectory before those struggles take hold.

It would be fantastic to develop a “Good News” initiative for kids, inviting school children to help produce a newsletter focused on sharing positive stories. By highlighting the good happening in their communities and the world, we could lift their spirits and inspire a brighter emotional outlook.
